2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. Vercel processes the technically necessary connection data on our behalf as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR). Each time the website is accessed, the server automatically records information in so-called server log files:

• IP address of the requesting device
• Date and time of access
• page/file requested and amount of data transferred
• referrer URL (previously visited page)
• browser type, browser version and operating system used

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free provision, stability and security of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources and is automatically deleted after a short period, unless it is required to investigate security incidents.

3. Fonts (self-hosted)

This website uses the fonts ‘Source Sans 3’ and ‘Merriweather’. These are served exclusively from our own server (or the Vercel hosting). NO connection to Google servers (Google Fonts) takes place; in particular, your IP address is not transmitted to Google.

4. Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website does not set any tracking or marketing cookies and does not use any web analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics) or advertising networks. No user-related tracking takes place. All resources required for display (fonts, scripts, icons) are loaded locally from our own server.

Your language is determined by the version of the page you visit (German or English). No cookies or persistent browser storage are needed for this.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, telephone or via the contact option on the website, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, telephone number, content of your message) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures/contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to the request).

Note on the contact form: The form on our contact page does not transmit data to our server but opens your own email program with a pre-filled message (mailto). Sending therefore takes place via your email provider. Your message reaches us as an ordinary email and is stored for as long as is necessary to process your request.

6. External links (Instagram)

Our website contains a link to our Instagram profile. This is a simple link; no Instagram content is embedded on our page. Data is only transmitted to Instagram/Meta once you actively click the link. Meta Platforms is responsible for the subsequent processing.

7. Optional AI chat assistant

Konrad currently displays fixed answers about our services and contact details. These selections work locally in your browser; no questions are sent to an AI service. AI chat is disabled.
